Cornelia grew up in the USA with a bilingual background and education. She is a certified translator for German/English and has over 25 years of experience specializing in technical translations in the field of cleanroom technology, automotive engineering, measuring and control technology, and civil engineering.



She has been working as English language trainer for over 12 years providing tailored in-company courses and seminars in business and technical English. She is a lecturer for business English at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Stuttgart Furthermore, Cornelia runs preparation courses for the Cambridge Business English Certificate examinations and specialized courses for writing for the technical professions.



Since September 2010 she is the head of language training and international business communication at ISD GmbH, a language school in Stuttgart, Germany.

Cornelia designed and programed the online vocabulary trainer in cooperation with the CKT Developer Team.



She writes for Business Spotlight - a magazine for business English.

Cornelia is an active member of various national and international teacher associations. She is the co-founder and vice president of IATET the International Association of Technical English Trainers and coordinates virtual events for IATET.



Since 2009 she has been on the board and events coordinator of the world’s largest international association of teachers of business English IATEFL BESIG.
